About
Sivanesan Swamiji
"The humblest servant of the Sadguru, whose life was a living testament to the teachings of Shirdi Sai Baba."
The Divine Manifestation in Naickenpalayam
Sivanesan Swamiji was born on the auspicious day of **Ramnavami, April 12, 1927**, in Peria Nayakkan Palayam (Naickenpalayam), Coimbatore. His arrival was marked by extraordinary spiritual signs; he was born with two front teeth and a 'jata' (matted hair), signaling his predestined life of renunciation.
His early childhood was defined by a natural withdrawal from worldly matters. Spending much of his time in meditation and solitude, he was formally educated only up to the 8th standard before his inner calling took precedence over academic pursuits.

The Path to the Master
A Heartbroken Departure
After the passing of his beloved mother in 1944, a 17-year-old Sivanesan left his home in Coimbatore. He reached Bombay, working varied jobs as a High Court assistant, helper in the Electricity Dept, and bookshop sales assistant while seeking his true purpose.
Meeting the Enlightened
His spiritual thirst led him to Vajreshwari, where he encountered Muthaiah Swamiji, forming a sacred bond of disciple and guide. He also sought the blessings of the legendary Nityanand Swamiji, deepening his meditative roots.
Home at Shirdi
After a period at Tryambakeshwar, he finally arrived at the feet of Shirdi Sai Baba in 1953. This became his eternal abode, where he would spend the rest of his life in total surrender to the Sadguru.
Austerity & Service in Shirdi
Swamiji lived a life of extreme austerity in Shirdi. He often slept in the open, survived on flowers and water, and remained absorbed in deep meditation for hours. Despite his high spiritual state, he served all the temples—Dwarakamai, Chavadi, and Lendi Bagh—performing menial tasks with ecstatic joy.
He lived in a tiny room adjoining Dwarakamai, remaining close to the fire (Dhuni) and the essence of Baba's presence until his last breath.
Sacred Teachings & Nama Japa
The Maha Mantra
"Om Sai Sri Sai Jaya Jaya Sai"
Swamiji introduced this Nama Japa as a direct link to Baba's grace.
Pradakshina Path
He strongly encouraged circumambulation (Pradakshina) around Gurusthan, Nanda Deep, and Dutta Mandir to cleanse the soul.
Anna-dana & Dhuni
Swamiji advocated for food charity (Anna-dana) and the maintenance of the sacred Dhuni Puja in every temple built under his guidance.
Philosophy of Silence
"Words are often walls between souls. In silence, the Master speaks directly to your heart. Seek the Shirdi within through prayer and service."
He was instrumental in spreading Sai Baba's message globally and helped establish numerous temples equipped with the sacred Dhuni.
The Eternal Light
Sivanesan Swamiji passed away into Mahasamadhi on **February 12, 1996**, in Shirdi. His physical journey ended, but his presence remains vibrant. His samadhi is located in Shirdi, off Pimpalwadi Road, continuing to bless thousands of seekers.
"For me, Shirdi is Haridwar, Shirdi is Mathura, and Shirdi is Kashi. My pilgrimage begins and ends at Baba's feet."
